Our General Ledger module makes detailed financial analysis possible to keep your business informed and agile.
All things depend on the General Ledger. The General Ledger module shows detailed history of all transactions throughout the business. Multiple companies, locations, and departments are supported. Companies and locations within those companies can have their own unique General Ledger structure, allowing your business the flexibility needed to work the way that makes the most sense.
Our General Ledger module allows for configurable fiscal years and periods, with a possible 13 periods in a fiscal year. This allows for fiscal periods that match calendar months or any other timetable that suits your business.
A variety of financial statements can be generated. Comparisons with previous fiscal years are done automatically.
Fiscal years and periods can be closed as needed. Once closed, no further transactions may be made in that period. A fiscal year can have a "soft close". This enables transactions to continue in the next fiscal year while still permitting work to be performed in the past year.
The power of the General Ledger is in its ability to help you understand how your business is performing. Transactions can be viewed by account, by fiscal period, and as groups of transactions made together. Every transaction is traced back to the original event in detail.
